you can buy humane mousetraps from diy stores.
They catch them alive and you can take them a few miles away and let them go!

pet shops like pet city etc sell boxes that catch mice but dont kill them so its more humane all you need to do is to put a piece of cheese or chocolate in the box & wait for it to click shut. then take it to wood land to release it. Also there is a plug in type devise which sends out a high pitch scream only audiable to rodents & mice (not to humans dogs cats etc..) which they hate and it deters them away from your property. if all else fails pop a sign up outside the door saying "Mice not welcome here" Im sure they will be able to read it!! If you know where the mice are getting in lay down some steel wool, They really hate that stuff! Moth balls work well too if you can stand the smell! Hope it works for you, Good luck!

Put Peppermint oil on cotton balls and leave around. Make sure its OIL not extract. Mice hate it.

get some rats pee from a pet shop and theyll leave, mice and rats cant live together and the weaker 1 leaves.

use a glass milk bottle with some chocolat in it when the mouce goes in it cant get out then take it out side and let it go it works i no and theres no harm to the mouse good luck

Get a gay cat! He will scare them off, but be too scared of killing them. The balance of nature is restored!
