Uh I broke off something on my whirlpool washing machine and it turned on and its shaking like crazy and won't go off!! How do I make it stop!!!!!!!? I tried unplugging it but i couldn't find what it plugged into!

By the way... opening the lid so did not help..

Maybe it connected to the circuit breaker, that happened to my dryer and I could only shut it off at the circuit breaker, Since then I had all the electric changed.

This usually happens because the machine is off balance. Example, too many towels or jeans on one side and not the other. If it is doing it just to do it, you need a repair man. Did you f ind the plug?????

why did u mess with it. i guess ill help u out the only way to stop it with how u discribed it is to break it more till it stops
or call a repair man that should have been ur first guess after unplugging it
