Believe me, by the time you turn deaf because of your age, the mosquito ringing tone will be long gone and OLD fashioned!!

I think that the concept is not that your ears will need constant exposure to the mosquitotone to continue to hear it, but that your eardrums "wear out" over time and will not be sensitive enough to detect the mosquito buzz ring tone or any similar sounds in that range. With that in mind, consider this: I have listened to loud music, live and on headsets, ear buds, etc. I have lived a relatively normal hearing-life in terms of not operating jack-hammers or working in a foundry. And, I am over 35 and I can still hear that dang mosquito ring tone!

Maybe or maybe not... some older adults can hear it. But most can't. So it's possible you would hear it, but unlikely after "a certain age."
