Isnt it easier to simply talk to your boss and find out about the situation before you start acting like a bit... I have an open relationship with my boss and not all the times we agree of the things that are happening around the office, he also knows I wont work for him all the time and that some day I will leave.. but I will advise him of that date or if anything else comes up in between he would also let me know. Just talk to your boss and dont go overheels too soon

Ask your boss and the person you are training. This is the best way to get answer. Tell your boss how you feel this is seeming to you. Then he may if trying to replace you at least leave on good terms and give you time to look elsewhere.

He is replacing you, just quit and don't teach him anything else. But, if you want unemployment pay while you are waiting for a new job, then you might want to be fired. Why don't you just go in there and sit down and ask your boss, and see what the little jerk has to say.

Don't over-react. This happened to me once and I was actually being promoted. Worst thing that could happen is that they hire this guy and you are fired. Wouldnt you rather be fired and collecting unemployment while looking for a new job than quit over some assumption that might not have even been correct and be dirt poor?
Well, actually the worst case is you being demoted to menial labor. Cross your fingers.

The child will have say in the end, because of her age. As long as she is proved to be a stable young person. Both you and ex. have good points to prove cheating /verse anger man. Best solution is through attorneys, that can work out a compromise, before taking this to court. They can step in and shed some light without the fight to a solution, or at least an understanding.

Are these people crazy? I'll bet that half that answered don't have a job to lose. You should just ask your boss what is going on. If he has brought in this new guy for you to train so that he can fire you, then what would his reason be? Have you stolen, lied, been a bitc# already? If he has no reason for firing you, then you shouldn't jump to conclusions. If he has a reason for firing you, then pack your bags and suck it up. That's life!

"Should I just quit or be a b**ch and teach him the wrong information???"
no, because you'd get fired for that
teach him what you're supposed to. maybe he's not meant to replace you
"should I quit or be a b**tch?"
neither. if you get fired, god forbid, I'm assuming you will then get some sort of severance payment. if you quit, on the other hand, you get bupkis

You could ask him what his title is or even ask him if you are going to be let go, but most of all don't burn your bridges because employers know how to get ifo from each other and if you leave on bad terms that may follow you

YOU wont save your job by doing either thing. Be nice as possible and look for another job on the side.
