Where can I have a custom designed leather biker jacket made?

What I am looking for is essential a classic black double diamond (Asymmetrical zipper) cruiser style jacket with the belted waist and multiple pockets, but what I want are a number of buckles up the front of the jacket. Meaning that once the jacket is zipped, there would be two to three more buckles over the zipper. I saw a jacket like this about 15 or so years ago and have always wanted one. Now that I could really use it, I can't find one. So I guess my only alternative is to have one custom made. If anyone knows where I can find a place that makes custom designed, made to order leather biker jackets, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Almost any Upholstery shop can make one if you wish. The hide is about $125-$300, depending.They are ready made, most are Chinese quality, but an Upholsterer can make you one nice. Its gonna cost, but is worth it.

I would go to a motorcycle shop where they sell accessory's such as crash helmets and jackets, but remember there are mainly to types of leather, the first is sheep leather which looks good but is very soft and will disintegrate (rip apart) if he has an accident, and then there is cow hide which is very strong and wont disintegrate and will last a lot longer then sheep leather, but will cost a lot more, I would spend that bit more for the best, for if he does happen to have an accident you would want the best to protect you from the tarmac as this will take the skin off just like sand paper would. the way you can tell the difference is have a look in side the jacket and it will tell you what it is made from and the second way is to smell it, ( there is a big difference in smell from sheep and cow hide) so £150 might get you what you want but expect to pay just that little bit more for the best, and of course the best will be warmer as well, good luck and take care on the roads.
