5 = 1 x 5
60 = 1 x 2 x 2 x 3 x 5

HCF* = product of the common factors
= 1 x 5
= 5

LCM** = product of numbers/HCF
= 5 x 60/5
= 60

* HCF = highest common factor
** LCM = least common multiple
