Yes, the circulatory system is important to the digestive system, because the circulatory system brings oxygen to all of your internal organs. Without oxygen cells die, which is a problem.

No, the circulatory system would not be able to do its job without the digestive system because when you digest food, the nutrients diffuse through the digestive tract into the blood stream. Part of the circulatory sytems job is to move nutrients from the digestive system to the rest of the parts of your body.

In simple terms: digestion breaks down food so it can get into the blood system(circulation). The blood system brings nutrients to all parts of body, feeds them, including the digestive system.

So the stomach and intestines need to be fed too, and in turn break down more food whose nutrients will enter the blood system.
