In the same way that other races do? we don't seem to have the same level of cultural awareness, even though we are the smallest minority in the world when compared in terms of numbers.

''Although not a racist I assure you that I do''

See this is what i mean, any attempt at thinking about your own race has to be prefaced first with ''i'm not a racist''.

why do we do this? we have lots to be proud of.

''like you can't really have a WET instead of a BET..
it just doesn't seem right does it? ''

It seems fine to me, why would it be a problem? why is any attempt at white cultural identity seen as wrong?

i think racially. I can see all of what was good for the west go to the east - all the money and the jobs - I know who the next race to rule the world will be. I think racially. White people are afraid to be called racist but you can discuss this subject and have some great conversations about it with white people. You just have to get around more like I have good luck. It makes you feel alot better to put everything into its simple persective and you get the bonding of someone from the same ' tribe ' as you --

alot of white people are afraid and have been brainwashed to become a non thinking hoard when it comes to race for fear of the big R word. Other races dont have to fear that word by whites do. good luck to you in your endeavours

well I am certainly not a racist, but I am a RACIALIST. let me explain.

We are all different, we would be foolish to think otherwise. All the races are different. They look different, they think different. Not better or worse, just DIFFERENT.

We should have different expectations of which each race can achieve, or having been given it on a plate, what they can MAINTAIN.

I also think it is OK for different species to inter breed. I mean , look at Brazil, some of the most beautiful people in the world.

I live on an island and personally I wish we all looked the same. But I certainly am not a racist, not by any stretch of the imagination although I will say that Enoch Powell was right.

I'm not trying to be rude, but a lot of the white people I know don't think that white people do a lot of the things that other cultures do. They see themselves as above others in society. Like I said, that's only those that I know. They are so suprised to hear that some white people actually live their lives as if they are from a different culture.

And you think it's not a good thing? It frees us of a lot of problems other people have on their mind (growing up with the idea that the others --whites-- despise you or other things like that).
Now, historically speaking, "whites" have just got rid of their complex of superiority, so it's probably too early to start feeling like a minority. Besides, "whites" are the majority in their countries and rarely make a strong minority in other countries. I would think those white minorities have the cultural awareness of their difference in the way you have described.
-- Growing up in a country without much racial differences, I think of myself rather as a brunette than as a white woman, and I still find the word "white" somewhat funny in this sense...

some do.....i have some friends who are white and they are in touch with their cultural background are are learning more of it because it had been lost in thier families for a long time. but i guess it depends who you consider white. like what races or nations are white? english? who else though? but i know what you mean.....i'm not white........but i wondered what kind of traditional cultural teachings the white nations have. doesnt' seem to be much. is church a traditional teaching? some say yes.....and if its coming from a place where it hasn't been altered or modified from its original way it was given to that race. what else? i can answer from what we do as first nations people. each season we have different ceremonies. even to how food is prepared. not everyone follows these ways to a T including myself. but to how you raise your children. honor your brothers and sisters........which is every man and woman.....to respect nature and protect her. anyways, i could go on and on. thats just a very small amount of what i know of the native teachings to my own nation of people

I think we, as white people and a minority, now feel intimidated by other races. We don't quite know what to do about it either. We have been "trained" to be tolerant and to try and get along but deep down we know that it just isn't going to always work. Got any suggestions?

No one should think racially. The race of another person is not something that is worth thinking about. Thinking about race is what causes the problem in the first place.

Slavery wasn't invented by whites, its in the Bible.

the peoples of the West have a right to maintain their national character and see it flourish.
People try to lay guilt trips on Whites, especially on White males.

but this White male doesn't fall for any of that.

When Whites are become a minority, no one will champion their rights!
