depends on how high it was, if a little high then yes no worries but if more than twice as much or higher then it can suggest a concern, good luck

Platelets or thrombocytes are the cell fragments circulating in the blood that are involved in the cellular mechanisms of primary haemostasis leading to the formation of blood clots. Dysfunction or low levels of platelets predisposes to bleeding, while high levels, although usually asymptomatic, may increase the risk of thrombosis (blood clots).

It's serious, if you are lying in a bed for extended periods of time without daily exercise and/or without the assistance of a automatic leg massage. Could develop blood clots in the leg which could lead to deep vain thrombosis which if not treated will lead to pulmonary embolism of which 30 % leads to death.
