I'm pro-choice...but...what in the daylights are they trying to accomplish? Are they trying to inform the students about abortion procedures? Or are they trying to scar them, and thus, scare them into not having abortions? I don't understand what the purpose of the trip is. It seems to me like they're trying to get to them young to 'scare' them into abstinence or not having abortions...I could be wrong though.

I can't believe that could happen. There is no way a school board would approve of such a trip! Look at what happened to the teacher that got fired over a trip to an Art museum!!! What parent (unless they had a personal reason) would sign a permission slip for their child to go?
And quit with the "liberal-bias" bull. Or is this just another case of Republican Conservative bible thumping scare tactics to discredit the school systems?

Throw in a bag of popcorn and some 3-D glasses and you'll have a WINNER!!! Ever consider worrying about something that needs more attention--like you own damn self??
Since when is conservative compassion a liberal bias? Ba Humbug!! I suppose we should have publicly funded charter schools for the religious right too!!!

well according to you all women who work and have children should have had abortions or quit to get out of youre way while you work on moving on up... so you might as well start making them feel comfortable with the idea.

It would be better a good education at school and home, and not to think we are in the Middle Age.

Young students should know how agencies help women and their babies, so the life of the unborn can be saved.

No I do not. Young children should not be exposed to such things. Young children should be allowed to be children before they have to learn about such things. Sheesh!
