Each oil will have a different freezing point.

sunflower oil - 17 deg. C
olive oil - 6 deg. C
sesame oil - 6 deg. C
peanut oil 3 deg. C
palm oil 24.1 deg. C
coconut oil 25.1 deg. C

There are many different types of oils (don't forget non-edible oils). The temperature where oil might freeze depends on the number of double bonds within the compound and degree of saturation. For instance, the freezing point of butter will be different than that of vegitable oil. Specify your inquiry.

Depends on the oil....higher viscosity oils usually freeze first, then lower viscosities. Fortunately it is low enough so we can continue to lubricate our machinery at very sub-zero weather.
