it depends on how you know this person. if you graduated with them, then no gift is required. if it is one of your friends or family members, then yeah, i would go with a $20 or so gift. (more or less depending on how clsoe you are with them and whether it's hogh school or college) money is fine. otherwise if it's a high school grad, i would say anything that they might need in thier first few years at college. (if they're moving away from home, something like towels, bath caddy, phone card, small light for reading at night, ect. if they're staying at home and commuting, maybe a bus pass or gas card.)
If it's a college grad then probably just money, it'll help pay off thier loans.

Depends on your relationship to the graduate. A small gift would be a nice gesture. A giftcard if always safe (or money, if from an older family member to a younger person). Or a stuffed animal in a cap&gown is nice and not too personal. How about a little photo album so they can store pictures from their graduation ceremony?
If it is a high school or college graduation, the Dr. Seuss book "Oh, The Place You'll Go" is a nice inspiring gift.

Money is usually the type of gift you get for a graduation. Traditionally, I think it goes to their college fund. Go with money and card, it's easy, and it's best for grads!

Yes, you should take a gift to a graduation party. I would go with a gift card, that way they can buy what they want.

Where I live, you give money. $20 or so, unless you are close to the grad, then more.
