You won't be there when the end comes, you'll be dead, but you will wake up again to see it all. That's what the bible says. Rev 1:7 says :
7Look, he is coming with the clouds,
and every eye will see him,
even those who pierced him;
and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen.

(Titus 2:13; Heb. 9:28; John 14:1-3; Acts 1:9-11; Matt. 24:14; Rev. 1:7; Matt. 24:43, 44; 1 Thess. 4:13-18; 1 Cor. 15:51-54; 2 Thess. 1:7-10; 2:8; Rev. 14:14-20; 19:11-21; Matt. 24; Mark 13; Luke 21; 2 Tim. 3:1-5; 1 Thess. 5:1-6.)

The world WILL end in 5 billion years time when the sun has used up all its helium and hydrogen and begins to swell into a Red Giant. The Earth will be swallowed up inside the circumference of the Red Giant and be burnt to a crisp! Mankind will be long gone by then, though!

I don't think the world will all end at once... In fact I don't think there will be an "end of the world". I think that humanity will die out, eventually.

And yes, there will be a lot of pain involved. There will be starvation, sickness, murder and bloodshed.

Just imagine a species that is going extinct... all countries would fight one other for survival, until we end up fighting ourselves, until there is nobody left.

And I think the world may end a lot soon than a few million years. I expect to see some pretty tripped out stuff in my lifetime and I don't think any of it will be pleasant.

the sun will slowly grow bigger and bigger making the earth hotter and hotter.this will take millions of years.so basicly new forms of life will evolve to handle the extremes in temperature until eventually all life will become extinct as life would be impossible on earth.the decendants of humans would have died out long time ago from drought,famine,heat etc,etc.people die like that all the time in africa.................or an astroid will slam into earth in which case we will all be dead within a few years.damn!!!!!we really have to start terraforming mars so that we can eventually live there should these things come to pass.

I almost died once. I was in a really bad car wreck. I think its not so much pain you feel when you die. You worry about every thing. I had a 2 year old at the time and I thought about her and weather i lived my life good enough to go to heaven. I did not feel any pain till i woke up in ICU. But i think the would is going to end when God wants it to.

It all depends on how you die. If you mean when the world ends, Which, I'm guessing, you do, then no. because (just a theory) every single person on the planet now, will, I'm sorry to tell you this, already be dead.

the only problem with our researchers on death is that they never turn back up to report the results. This is how I answer the question-do you remember anything before you were born? That will be what it's like when you die.
