Before I actually collected travel brochures!!!! At the moment I'm not collecting anything, but if I could include my music collection? I'm trying to get songs from all over the world, and every country. So far around 90 nations are represented.

You could try collecting banknotes (world paper money), because that's what I collect and that gives me a lot of satisfaction as I can enjoy the educational benefits of worldwide currency banknotes, and also exchange or trade them with collectors, buy them from dealers (sometimes) or from shops and I can also sell them decades later for more money to other collectors or even to investors. I have a collection of 17 thousand + different world banknotes and I am still adding more to it. I used to collect stamps, but I find larger-than-stamps banknotes to be more rewarding in experience than stamps or postcards.

I collect pre-19th century swords, specifically Samurai and Scimitars. Also enjoy collecting engravings, mostly 16th and 17th century European.
Just a quick note, don't you find it funny, that even on this question the bigots can't help themselves......

I seem to collect empty cigarette packs, and Pibb Xtra cans.
I have collected different things through out my life.
Matchbox Cars, and other model vehicles
Newspapers,
Magazines X-rated, and non x-rated,
Different coins and dollars,
I think I might have a touch of pack rat syndrome.
