After one has drawn 2 graphs, one of displacement vs. time and the other graph displacement vs. time squared... some questions refer to their relationships, plz could someone assist me in this?

1a.What type of relationship exists between displacement and time? 1b.What is the name of the line you would obtain?

2a. What type of relationship exists between displacement and time squared? 2b. What is the name of the line you would obtain?

without seeing the equation, I'd guess:

the relationship between displacement and time depend on the motion of the object.
If an object is at rest, then the displacement will not change no matter how much time goes by.
If the object is moving at a constant velocity, then time and displacement are directly related. Go twice as long and you will cover twice as much distance.
If the object is moving with a constant acceleration, then displacement and time will have a squared relationship. Go twice as long and you will cover four times as much distance.
