For those who wallow in innocent yet unconcious ignorance, the soca warriors is the name given to the Trinidad and Tobago football team. I must say, speaking as a trini myself, they really exceeded expectations. The opening game against Sweden was priceless.... a grand opening. Hope we make to to round 2 in South Africa 2010!!

well the soca warriors is also the nickname of trinidad and tobago. (im not even sure if ur talkin about them judging by ur other answers)
they exceded expectations. earned a draw against sweden, lost the game against england in the final 10 mins of the game and fell to paraguay.

Well as a trini I must say they did us proud.They didn't do as bad as I expected.In fact when they drew against Sweden the entire country was shocked.They didn't really bring anything special but they really did play to the best of their ability and that was enough.Not to mention the million dollars they got when returned home.
