Emptiness is void of nothing, yes. The term "Nothing" connotes existence of something, and just that notion is a "thing". Therefore emptiness is void of everything, including nothing.

Emptiness is void. Period.

Nothing, or nothingness could be considered the same thing theoretically.

However, true emptiness cannot be spoke of, if it is, then it changes from pure theoretical "emptiness/nothingness" into something filled with slight existence, and that slight existence is enough to tear it worlds away from the nothing from which it has sprung.

Emptiness is void of nothing yes. It is empty of thing, Thing is thought, the content of our mind. Our mind is full of everything or things of the mind. Emptiness mean no thought and our mind cannot fathom emptiness because our mind lives with thoughts.

I personally believe in God but I disagree with the statement that energy was not here in the beginning. This is because the laws of energy are that energy can not be created or destroyed, that it moves in through form and out of form. So it was always here if these laws are true. It's like how God was always here , He was not created, and He can not be destroyed. I hope this isn't confusing haha
