If you are being warned NOT to bend over and pick up the soap, it means that while in jail, a convict will come over and try to do you from behind in the shower, without your consent.
If someone says it out of context... it just means that you could get screwed (figuratively) doing whatever you are doing, and that it's probably not a good idea.

The meaning that I have been told is that if you are in jail they tell you not to bend over and pick up the soap because the homosexual inmates will try something with you.

It's a prison term. Don't drop the soap in the shower, otherwise you may be subjected to rape.
A man who's been in prison for some time may not be able to resist the opportunity if it were presented to him while your bent over picking up a bar of soap.

I'll explain it using an example:
If you were taking a shower at the gym and Justin Timberlake was showering next to you, would you put yourself in the precarious position of bending over to pick up the soap, leaving your brown eye unprotected for Justin attack at will?
I sure as heck wouldn't.

LOL Watch out or you might get dicked. Seriously if you ever go to jail don't drop the soap or else you will feel a sharp pain back there. OUCH that would hurt

It means (usually associated with prison) that if you pick up the soap in the public shower another guy coul 'do you' in the anus.
It has kinda gay meanings and stuff.
Not sure whether sex in the shower happens in prison though.
