He's a complete train wreck, completely unqualified for the position, a puppet for the special interests who put him in office, he's done incaculable, possibly permanent damage to the US.
I don't think America as a whole made a mistake but the Bushbots who voted for him in the states where he won his electoral votes clearly have made huge mistakes, not once but twice.
I personally voted against him and worked the campaigns of his opponents in both elections. I have made many, many mistakes in my life but I have made no mistake having to do with this clown being in office.

George W. Bush is a bigger idiot than his father, George H.W. Bush.
Of course America made a mistake - TWICE! The man isn't smart enough to tie his own shoes, much less be Commander In Chief of the world's greatest superpower. The damage this moron has done will take generations to fix (if we ever really can fix it!). -RKO-

My personal opinion of George Walker Bush is not suitable for a "family oriented" answers forum.
America didn't make a mistake. Both times, GWB was NOT elected by the majority of American voters. In 2000, he owed his "election" to the machinations of his brother and said brother's bought-and-paid-for judiciary. In 2004, we can thank Diebold for their manipulations.
The mistake is allowing this to continue. The mistake will be if we, the People do nothing in 3 weeks and allow this petty tyrant and dictator wannabe to continue his reign of terror over the American people by preying on their fears, while he murders close to 3/4 of a million innocent CIVILIANS in Iraq.

America didnt make a mistake...a certain group of people (who I call terrorists, since they terrorise and nurture terrorism in the end of the day) had to make sure that he would "rule" and stole votes. They needed easy money, so they had to put this regime on top, so they could use the values, patriotism and religion as an excuse for their wars and killings. The easiest way, since there are so many brainwashed media guided citizens in the US already...so there was a red carpet waiting for them. But I know that many Americans are better than that and have opened their eyes.

How was Reagan from the "working class?" He was an actor. A movie star. He was the equivalent of us electing Brad Pitt to be president.
Clinton was from the working class though and he related well to the American people. Not only was Bush a member of the aristocracy, he was a dumb member (and still is).
Go clear some more brush Georgie.

I think he is not perfect but was better than the other choices we had.
I think people are very down on him partly because we live in tough times. They blame him, not the enemy, for the problems we have. I think that's wrong.
I think we stand a better chance of prevailing if we stop the partisanship and pull together.
I hope I'd say the same if a Democrat were president, if I felt they were doing their best.

First of all, America made a mistake electing a a president from the aristocracy. We are better off with people like Clinton or Reagan, who came from the working class.
Secondly, he owes his election to defense contractors and energy corporations who paid for his election in return for political favors (the entire Republican party and to a lesser degree the Democratic party did the same thing)

Dee dee deee!!!! I never voted for him, nor his father, nor his father's buddy Ron. Watching our nation deteriorate under Republican control makes me vomit with every newscast. America has made a mistake that will be corrected after the Nov. elections.
