I'm in the seventh grade, almost 13. There are kids in this school.. no this GRADE wearing thongs talking about having sex, cursing like crazy! [I might say crap or somthing like that but thats it] Looking at.. porn. This is crazy! I can't beleive that something like this is happening. I dont want to grow up and have kids who are having sex at nine years old. Its just sick how something like this is happening I find out [mostly right here on Yahoo! Answers] 12, 11, 10, even NINE YEAR OLDS HAVING SEX! I really want to do something, I'm not like the school dork or anything I'm just like ...really annoyed by this, what is happening??

I agree. I can't imagine kids having sex that young! You sound like a teen who has her head on straight, and it's good that you are aware that these things are not appropriate for young kids.
The only advice I have for you is to follow your instincts on this, and don't give in to the peer pressure that is around you. You're already doing a great job by voicing what you think is wrong, so keep up the good work!

I'm not sure about the swearing and the thongs are a little to mature for them. However that is about the age (or as soon as 4th or 5th grade) that kids are becoming teens and are having new hormones and having feelings they have never felt before.
In older days kids as young as 11 were already married and starting a family. In today's culture kids have to many other responsibilities making careing for a child not possible. At this point in life are bodies are naturally telling us to have kids. However that is not tolerated in today's culture so since we can't it gives kids an urge to explore there sexuality in other ways. As you get into High School you will hear that kids have started to have sex.

I know just what you mean. I was taken out of home schooling and put in Public school and it was like being put in hell.
Me and my friends are probably the only sane people in the world.
They were talking about sex and useing bad language. I came to realize where I was from was much better. I guess I am not a city school person. Your right kids talked about oral sex.
it was disgusting. I hate this wicked world. Glad it is about to go down. Soon God is going to destroy this wicked world and none to soon if you ask me.

I doubt there is much you can do, but at least it sounds like you know that the behavior you see everyday is not behavior you want to immitate. Just choose your friends carefully and whatever choices you make, make them based on what you want and how your parents raised you instead of based on what your peers in school want you to do. You could alwasy write an annonymous note to the guidance counselor explaining what you see wrong with your fellow student body and maybe they can talk to the students as a group. I didn't have these problems in school. Good luck.

Adolescence sucks I will tell you that. Kids your age tend to do stupid things. Just stick up for what you believe is right and set a good example for eveyone else. Normal isn't the issue. Once you can tell me normal, go ahead, because no one can tell me what normal really is. Show everyone else what is right and you're set. Keep up the good morals kid!
