Delete the whole email that has it attached. Unfortunately you can't just delete part of it.

You need to delete the e-mail it is attached to or contained in to get rid of these types of items in a web based e-mail program. It is a good idea to get rid of them on web based accounts, otherwise you have copies stored on the server and that is not something we like to do. When you send attachments via e-mail four copies are created. The one on each computer and the one on each e-mail server. So, just save the text portion of the e-mail if you wish and then delete it from you account. Make sure you delete it from the "deleted" items folder too, or they are still there and counted towards you account storage limit.

if you already sent the message...you can not delete anything.
if you did not send it , under the address bar in the message , where it says attachment , there is a small icon that says remove.
just click it.
