You should go to bed at 9 because i used to have to wake up at 6.00 for school, and that gives you enough time to sleep.

Well i have to wake up at that time to and I go to bed at 9:00 some times 10:00 and on weekends I stay up as long as I possibly can.

I'm 13 aswell, and I got to bed at 9:30 sharp. I ussually get up around 6:45, so I'll have time to slam down some breakfast and jump on the bus...

How old are you?? I get up at 6:30 and i go to bed at about 9:45. SO I say about 9:15 or so for you.

Believe it or not all the current research indicates that a teenager needs at least 8 hours of sleep a night - preferably 9. Believe me, this will help you with your skin, your grades, your health and immune system. I promise. So head to be at 9:30 or so. You'll be glad.

it depends on well how you are , of you are active( like with sports) if your used to goin to bed late or early ( if early start goin to bed a lil bit later like every month or so...)
but im 13 and i go to bed between 10:30 and 11:30 sometimes later.... and i get up at 6:15 to get ready and if i dont have time at night i take a shower in the morning .....

Sleep deprivation results in a decrease in body temperature, a decrease in immune system function as measured by white blood cell count (the soldiers of the body), and a decrease in the release of growth hormone. Release of growth hormone in children and young adults takes place during deep sleep. Most cells of the body show increased production and reduced breakdown of proteins during deep sleep. Sleep helps humans maintain optimal emotional and social functioning while we are awake by giving rest during sleep to the parts of the brain that control emotions and social interactions.
Some people may need as little as 5 hours or as much as 10 hours of sleep every day. The period of time a person sleeps depends also on the fact whether he or she has been deprived of sleep in previous days. Sleeping too little creates a "sleep debt." This debt needs to be adjusted by sleeping for longer periods over the next few days. People who sleep less have an impairment of judgment and reaction time.
I would reckon for you to sleep at least 8 hours a day!

Whatever time you are comfortable with, and make that time a habit. If you go to bed at 11 and are still tired, go to bed a little earlier. Bed times are an individual thing.

I went to Chickasha High School (in Oklahoma), and I had to get up around the same time as you. I usually went to bed after or during the 10 o' clock news. (It all depended on whether or not it held my interest.)

I used to be a real "space cadet" in school, though I got good grades. One day, my art teacher, who was incredibly cool, and non-domineering, asked me how much sleep I got. When I told him I went to sleep between 1and 2 AM, he was shocked! He informed me that teens need at LEAST 8 to 9 hours of sleep a night. I tried out his suggestion and it made a HUGE difference! If you're getting less than that, you're almost sleep-walking through your day.
