Its assault and battery and is that the whole story or is there more to it if not why are people mad at you and you are the victim. If you didn't lead this guy on in any type of way I wouldn't worry about what people say but If there is more to this story than your saying then you must have a guilty conscience

Well he did what he felt was right and even though it was noble it was still against the law. You should stick by him since he is in jail for what someone else did to you. Basically follow your heart and you will be okay.

Well he stood by you when you needed him... As long as he isn't causing you harm or dangerous to you, just because he is in jail doesn't make him bad or you a lesser person for being with him.

I think people are looking at you badly because they don't know the whole entire sitution, people have the tendacy to judge people even if they don't know there story. I believe love is love he loved you and he felt like you were violated and felt it was his duty as your man to protect you and thats what he did.

That's sweet. He defended your honor- very important! If you love him and he loves you, it doesn't matter what anyone else says or thinks, right?

Tell them to mind their own business! He probably shouldn't have done it but it's totally understandable why he did it.

Keep him. He is undoubtedly in love with you, but be careful as he might have an abusesive streak.
