If there is still a picture on the welcome screen this is because the User Account it represents is still on your computer. You need to go into UserAccounts and delete that account. When you delete it the picture or as you called it the icon will go away too. Now, if that user has files stored in the account you will be given the option of saving those files to your account, to your desktop. That way any important or sentimental files the user has will still be available, but you will then become the owner of the files. If the person is a family member or good friend you may want to keep the files. It is not difficult to do and does not take up a lot of room.
If you are low on disk space you may want to delete some or all of the users files. Once you have them saved to your user account, just go through the files, text files, music, photos, etc, and decide what may be important to the user. Then delete those which you don't think will be important. You could also contact the user and just ask if the person has important items s/he wants to keep. You could transfer these files through the Messeger to the computer the person is using now. It is simple to do. It is also much easier to do it through Messenger thant through the E-mail programs. Usually limits are set on attachments via e-mail, but there is not any limits on files sent via Messenger, either Yahoo! or Windows Live Messenger.
Good luck and I hope it all works out for you, and have a great day!
OK, I misunderstood what type of log in you were referring to. I am not sure if this is it either, but I will describe what I had at one time when Yahoo SBC Global was my ISP Web Mail program for my and my families e-mail accounts. We had several family accounts and when we wanted to log in to one a list of accounts with icons appeared to choose from. We would click on our icon or picture and one was a rocket, and then put in our password. Sort of like the welcome screen but for our mail account instead of our user account.
Now, when I moved I did not have Yahoo SBC Global any longer, and when it changed the icons just were gone off my system. They just vanished as though they had never been there. So, perhaps if you try to disable the accounts whiich are not being used any longer that will get the picture icon off the list of available mail accounts. If the accounts will never be used again then go ahead and delete them, that should get the icons off for sure, at least you would think so right? lol
I hope this works out for you, good luck and have a nice day!
p.s. I includes this here so if this IS what you are referring to then others who may have the same problem can read the answer and use the advice for their situation. Keeping it in the message delivery between the two of us limits who can use these ideas. Thanks so much for all your congradulations on my up coming wedding, and also for the advice on what works so well for you and your spouse. I too strongly believe God must always be first in all things. I hope you have a blessed day today and all days to come.
