Depends on your computer really. If you are asking about memory as in RAM, then you'd have to tell us what model computer you have and how much RAM it already has in it.
If you are talking as far as space to save files in, then you can add another harddrive, of course, as long as you are able to.
Therefor, we need to know what model computer you have and if it's hard drive space or more RAM you are looking to add.

To answer your question, you are going to need to know more about your computer. If you bought it new, say from Dell or HP, it likely came with support documentation. In the documentation you will need to search for the type of RAM (Random Access Memory) that is compatible in your computer and the maximum amout that it can handle. If you have lost the documentation, you can go to the manufacutures website and type in the compters serial number to get information about it. The RAM will be listed as number of pins it has and speed. The number of pins will likely be 168 or 184 and the speed is listed as PC2400 or PC2700 or a number similar to that. You will then go to www.newegg.com and buy the same speed and type of RAM at the maximum amount your comptuer will handle.

in hardware tab it will tell you how much you have. Depending on what you do you shouldn't need more than 1GB. once you find out how much you have you must determine what kind your computer has. Look for express service tag on computer and insert it in search field on yahoo. If you can't find one, open your case and pull out one of the memory sticks, there should be a decal on them that states what kind, then find bigger and better one online at cheapest price (most likely newegg.com) and buy

To increase the memory on your computer you will need to buy upgrades.. in amounts prescribed by the computer manufacturer.. check out your computer make and model and see what is available.. or you might just want to take it to your local PC repair person to upgrade for you.
