I'm wondering which city would be better, becuase I have no idea. But which one would you choose.

SAN FRANCISCO!!!!
pitt is a nasty town... san fran is full of life, tollerance, love adventure..

Well this is a good question because, it depends on what you are looking for in a city. It would be cheaper to live in Pittsburgh, San Fransico is very expensive. Job market.. Well Pittsburgh is very blue collar, steal workers etc. San Fransico is a little more white collar. As for culture they both offer excellent options.. Both have very good Symphony's, art museums, theater etc. Sports well Pittsburgh has every kind of Pro Team except Basketball. San Fran has the Golden State Warriors who I believe play in Oakland. The surrounding area of San Fran is probably nicer. The weather is milder in San Fran too. Plus you are close to wine country. Pittsburgh surrounding area has lots of history such as Gettysburg etc. I don't know.. I would say it is a toss up. I would lean more toward SF. But, Pittsburgh is very doable though. Toss up I say.

I've lived in both, and Pittsburgh is much better! San Francisco is excellent for tourism (as is Pittsburgh), but you can't beat Pittsburgh for year-'round living, overall quality of life, nice folks, and affordable cost. Pittsburgh is the best city I've ever been in!

If you mean Pittsburgh or San Francisco and you're talking about living in either of them, I'd say Pittsburgh.
