Ive never heard of a 5 month fetus measuring 6 cm. Thats about the size of a 10 week fetus. By five months a fetus is generally 8 inches from head to butt.

Ive also never heard of a doctor willingly terminating a pregnancy past five months. Usually they do everything they can to get the baby as many more weeks as possible before preforming a c-section and removing both baby and tumor.

Find a different dr fast! Why would he want to terminate at 5 months? Why not give the baby a chance and take it at 6 1/2 7 months? Babies are viable if born after 23 weeks, so the baby would have a good chance of making it taken by 7 mos.

Get a second opinion, don't accept the initial diagnosis. They have such amazing medical capabilities now days I'd be willing to bet if you look hard enough you'll find a group of specialists that can attempt to save your baby. Never stop with the first opinion, keep going until you're sure it's right. I'm so sorry you're being faced with this, but like I said, never stop with one, get another and another, for your sake and your baby's.

Yes its possible.
And it is the best thing to terminate the pregnancy, because the baby is not growing like it should and will not be able to grow or survive. There is no luck for your baby and if you keep that tumor (if it's cancerous) in there, there may be no luck for you either.

Something similar to this happened to my aunt, but kind of different. She had been trying to get pregnant, but kept having misscarriages after a few months, then she ended up getting pregnant in her tubes, and then they realized she had a tumor.
You should get it taken care of.

A fibroid tumor can cause you to end pregnancy at an early stage. Especially if it is rapidly growing too.
