Yes, there is a time machine. I've been contracted to come here from the future to change certain things (make certain investments - make some cars inoperable so certain accidents don't happen etc.).

There is a danger, however, that my presence here will change my past enough such that I will never have been born which means that I ................

I am sorry to have to tell you that time travel is not practical in "machine" terms.

It is not possible to travel to the past because to do so would be to alter the past, which (a) is established and cannot be altered, and (b) if altered would affect the present in indeterminate ways.

It is not possible to travel to the future because the future does not yet exist. In general terms, the past and the future are not "places" that can be destinations in the way that, say, Barcelona can be a destination.

And it is not practical to make a time machine because it is not technically feasible with human technology.

However, there is hope. If you are interested in machines and technology, there is much to LoV that is practical and that you can get involved in by studying engineering, science, or management.

Don't lose that LoV, okay? And don't miss Barcelona!

It's possible, who knows how advanced our technology would be in the future, but keep in mind that once a time machine is invented then time would become irrelevant. Meaning that we would have or should have had visitors from the future by now. My guess would be that in the future there would be laws against anyone tampering with the time line. Who knows, maybe the UFO sitings that have been reported are not aliens at all, maybe they are just human beings from the future who have ventured back to see what things were really like. Could be the reason none ever really try to make contact with us because it would do damage to the time line.

A time machine would be impossible without physical (spacial) travel at the same time.

Bear in mind the Earth moves around the sun over 1 million miles per day, so if you went 1 day either way without spacial compernsation, you would end up in space at least 1 million miles from Earth.

Your time machine would have to compensate for this (and a whole bunch of other movements, sun, galaxy, etc), so an Earthbound machine would have serious problems. The time machine would have to be your space ship, and it would need a very complex algorithm to compensate for any spacial travel requirements.

Actually there is all ready a time machine out there but no one thinks of it this way, It's called a car! let me explain, when you are driving whatever you have went by is now the past, what you are doing right then is the present, and up ahead is the future and it's up to you to decide what you are going to do,.

Whats to say that there was a time machine invented in the future AND they HAVE visited. Yet there is some universal law that they are not allowed to speak of their visitation. lol. Therefore we do not know if theyre is someone from the future that has visited us.

If there will ever be a time machine invented, we would've already have had visitors from the future

No, it's physically impossible. People who claim it is have no idea about the violations of the laws of physics such a machine would cause; and the laws of physics have NO exceptions.

no there isnt a time machine and i dont think they could ever make one because breaking the space time contium is scientifically impossible but it would be cool if they could make one rite... if u could change anything wat would it b?
......... i would skip the rest of my high school years...

i defintely disagree, i think that there will be a time machiene eventually. just not now. i mean, they've had so many technical advances lately (the experimental invisibility cloak for example) eventuall, they will work with time and space advances.
