Value of any currency is evaluated in its purchasing power.If there are about two yens in one rupee,it does not mean that Indian currency is better than Japanese.If you mean that can rupee be easily used as a recognised currency in world trade,it will take some time.As your economy grows the convertible value of rupee will grow.
