You should get it checked out if it occurs frequently or if the pain is intense. Abdominal pain could be a lot of things. It could be appendicitis, gallstones, trapped gas, etc.

Are you pregnant? It could be ligaments stretching. I'm pregnant with my second and I've been getting menstral like cramps the entire pregnancy. I've had four sonograms and everything is ok. The doctor didn't really know what I"m getting these cramps but well, I am and things are going well with my pregnancy (I'm 25 weeks now). It's scary because with my first I didn't get this and I've also read that a preterm labor symptom is menstral like cramps but I've had it the whole time so I almost wonder if that makes me more likely to have preterm labor. I haven't yet or anything and lets hope it doesnt happen. So I donno. Ask the doctor if you're really concerned because it could be nothing or it could be something. Good luck!

if you are less than 3 months (12 weeks) it could be a miscarriage. but usually if you are further along than that, it isn't. most miscarriages happen within the first trimester. if you are close to due date, it may be premature labor or fake contractions. or you could give birth early. watch out for bleeding. if you start bleeding-do not take a bath. the water will cause the blood to stop coming out & the pressure from the blood will build up and cause a miscarriage. (it will literally "push" the baby out of you) another thing, if you start bleeding, take it easy---complete bed rest. no heavy lifting/exercising/walking. just relax. let someone pamper you. and lots of people will tell you that this is not true, but there is an injection you can buy at mexican stores that will stop you from miscarrying. its called vario fuerte or barrio fuerte or something like that. it will not hurt the baby, it will stop the bleeding & it will make your stomach stronger to hold the baby. i know this to be true because i know several women who have used it. so i hope this helps and good luck! i hope everything goes ok for you!

If you're early on, and really through out pregnancy its perfectly normal. The farther along you get the more painful those feelins are as the uterus and tendons stretch.
You shouldnt be having the urge to bear down like you're pooping, that would be a contraction. While braxton hicks contractions are normal from 4 months on, you should atleast call your doctor if they cause you discomfort and dont go away when you rest laying down.
But period like cramps are totally normal.

I instructed anybody existence wasnt worth dwelling if I knew that soreness could in simple terms come back... yet, now i'm 20 and it doesnt get like that anymore... Advil doesnt artwork for ****, attempt Pamprin... Its not likely to make the soreness bypass away completely, even though it helps. attempt taking a ridcliously warm tub, turn the water up each of how. it quite is going to take a physically powerful ingredient of the soreness away, and make you dizzy so which you will flow slowly into mattress and passout.... i could take like 4 baths an afternoon as quickly as I had my era/

Pain is your body's way of telling you something is wrong. If you don't know what is causing it, you should get to the doctor and find out. The dr may be able to give you something to help you with the pain, and you can have peace of mind knowing it isn't something serious.
