"sure, have a seat!" I wouldn't want to hog a whole table if I was alone, and you never know. You might have just met someone who is very intelligent, or charming or sweet...or all of the above. Life is too short to turn away an opportunity.

Be honest with them.
If you want, tell them to sit down.
If you don't, just say "Go ahead sit down, I'm on my way out anyway", and leave as fast as possible.
