I bought a pair of jeans online and they are a little dark. I love the way they fit, so I don't want to get rid of them. Is there some way to lighten them without having to wash them over and over again?

Rit dye makes a dye especially made to lighten jeans without having to bleach (which can yellow them) or wash them continually. It's under $5 and they sell it at any drug store---my grocery store even sells it. I can't remember exactly what it's called---the title on the label says something like "for fading blue jeans"

Try washing them with just a splash of bleach into the water while they are in the machine. Make sure the bleach doesn't hit the jeans before the water though. Or you can go to a sweing place and ask them if they have any stonewashing kits for sale.

soak them with a little water and a little bleach, be sure to thoroughly mix the bleach and the water first and use a big container so it's even. Check on them every couple minutes until you get a little darker than the shade you want, as jeans get darker if you have water on them.

It's called RIT Laundry Treatment #60 Color Remover. It comes in a powder. Directions say you can use this powder to remove or lighten color to prepare for dying or to achieve your desired color. If you can't find it in any of your local stores or drug stores try Drugstore.com.

i'd say washing them in water with a little bleach maybe 1/2 a cup at first and put in before you wash the jeans. that way the will get lighter but with out spots

Or u could just deal with the darkness
