i just discovered that my brother is gay. i had the felling that he was different but now it's like he is a different person and i have gay friends but to see my brother i have to ask; what is it that men see in other men what fdo you feel when your with a person of the same sex. can you chose not to be homosexual? but don't get me wrong i love his so much and whatever he chooses i will always love him. well thanks for reading

I honestly can't tell you WHY I am gay any more than you could say WHY you are straight. It is just who I am. I TOTALLY understand your asking the question though because you are just trying to learn. The good thing is that now that you know at least he doesn't have to live a lie around you. You sound like a good and understanding sister!

You can't change from being a homosexual. We are attracted to the same-sex only, We fall in love and even though it may not be to the opposite gender, the feeling of loving someone is good.

You will happy to find in time that he is the same person you've always known. It's true that he can not choose who is attracted to.
Gay people are attracted to a lot of the same qualities straight people are. Sexual orientation is determined before birth and generally cannot be changed.

What do you mean that you havbe to ASK to meet him?
He's not in some sort of cult??
I think that only your vrother can tell you what he sees or how he feels for other men.
They can choose not to be gay, but sometimes it's hard for them.
Try and talk to him, tell him that you love him and ask him how it is to be gay, 'cause you want to understand him.
It's a great thing that you still love him no matter what.

being gay is never a choice. He is different because he has been hiding his true self. What you are seeing now is the real him.
Did you know there are 500 species of animals that have homosexual tendencies. Being homosexual is natural its just new to all of us. There are specific cases of almost every animal showing homosexual tendencies.. If he tells you he is gay accept it. They are human beings just like anyone else. Please don't be narrowminded like others. Accept him for who he is and love him for who he is. Some believe that you are born like that, others like myself believe that there are circumstances in your life that made you like that. You will never understand what it is for a man to be excited by a man,because you are not homosexual, stop trying to analyze the situation. And love your brother for who he is. Support him.

you can't choose not to be homosexual you either are are your not. If he is telling you he is Gay, then there you have it. Just be supportive of him. It's not a decision he made, it was just a decision to tell you, it's just who he is.

Homosexuallity is mainstream, incest is not. He's your brother, his sexual preference never should have been or be a concern. Get a support group.
