My breasts are engorged and tender, and my period is due in 5 days. This happened last month too, but no baby yet. :(

Yes, it is possible. Some women have been known to simulate an entire pregnancy, and then never give birth, because there was never a baby at all.

Yes, it is very possible. It is also possible to have tender breasts when having your period. It is all a hormone thing....just relax. If you get too intense about getting pregnant you'll stress yourself out and set yourself up for a world of hurt. I had a friend that went through a year of doctors and infertility hell only to find that when she gave up and spent all her "baby money" on a trip to Italy...yup, really intense morning sickness the entire time she was there! Best of luck!

Absolutely! PMS symptoms and early pregnancy symptoms are virtually the same. Your mind is a powerful thing and if do enough convincing, you will find many "pregnancy signs."

My period is due in 5 days and I have all kinds of possible symptoms but I try to ignore them all until my period is late. Overanalyzing really makes things stressful and emotional.

Yes, it happens all the time. I think this is why people are always on here asking questions like "am I pregnant?" They just want kids so badly they force themselves to have the symptoms.

This works both ways. I was three months pregnant before I realized it because I just kept telling myself I was having PMS. Try not to dwell on it, and keep doing what you're doing. At least trying is fun, right?

Yes, it is possible. It has happened to me a couple of times in the past year. You don't know yet what the verdict is though, so keep thinking happy thoughts!

the thing is that pregnancy symtoms are often very similar to pms symptoms. so you may just be experiencing very strong pms symptoms and not even know it, many women confuse the two, especially when they are hoping to be pregnant

Maybe because you have it in your head that you want to be and now you're starting to feel the symptoms. I think it's just your imagination.
