In a world full of sad stories is this adoption for the good of the child or for the whim of a couple who could do this child more good my spending some of their hundreds of millions on making this child his family and local communiies life better by investing in the country?

speaking as one who has adopted and seen just what the 'journey' holds i am interested in how this story is unfolding and at this moment find it a very sad story that really is about just one little boys life - a life that should be lived in privacy until he is of an age to decide otherwise -

This really upsets me, why do film stars think they have a right to fly to god knows where and buy a baby, because thats all they are doing. Is this what they really want or is it yet another stab at grabbing more headlines. Of course its the money they have that makes them gods in poorer countries, and you are correct in saying if they are that concerned then they should invest their money into something more viable like medicine to help poorer countries instead of fullfilling there dream BIGGER HEADLINES.

They have the resources to have lawyers do the paperwork. Lawyers can really speed up the process and find loopholes to your advantage. Why are you so negative? If 1 person can be saved then isnt that good. I do not think the Ritchies have super powers. Anyways money is not always the answer. Corrupt politicians and gangsters will skim thet money first.

Whatever your thoughts, the adoption of this child by
Madonna, will certainly give him a better chance than is
currently mapped out for him.... but I do think maybe they
could have spent the money on updateing an Orphange
or building a Clinic ....

I believe she is doing it because she really wants to help, i say good for her! Madge is also setting up a charity to help the country, so what if they have the money at leastits going to help people and not be snortted up there noses like so many other `popstars` do!!!
