it comes up with (Hash 527CBD41 D4367967 FF78F460 9CE1E063 9265AF00. What is this?,should i allow it?

That is what it is for - to block unwanted programs. I don't recognize that long list of numbers and letters. Seems similar to what memory looks like.Take a look in Control Panel, System, Device Manager and see if you can see it anywhere. I would allow it even if I didn't know for sure. As long as you have anti spyware and anti virus software.

It depends on what you're doing when it pops up. If you're trying to access a program you know, then you can allow it because you know the reason it popped up is because of the last thing you told it to do, such as open a program. If it's coming up randomly then something is not right... goood luck :-)

that look like a harware address to me it is a string of hex numbers, hardware is usally safe as it is part of your computer, so it should be safe to allow it. you only have to be aware when somting is tring to connect to your computer or a program that you never heard of before want to access the internet
