Me and my boyfriend have been having unprotected sex since the second time.... he has never *** in me.... I rarely if ever use a condom, just always withdrawal method... and yet, I've never gotten pregnant. Is precum leading to pregnancy just a myth, have I just been lucky, or do I have some sort of fertility problem? He is not the first partner I've had unprotected sex with. I'm careful to test for STDs, but I never seem to get pregnant.

You're not being smart... if you don't want to get pregnat... use birth control.
You can get pregnant using the withdraw method. Not getting pregnant doesn't mean you or he has a fertility problem... you have been lucky.

You say that you're careful to test for STD's, but what will you do if you end up with HIV/AIDS??? Do you understand that you can't just take some antibiotics for a few days to fix it. What if you ended up HIV positive and pregnant at the same time? Don't ever trust a guy telling you that he doesn't have any diseases either because he probably hasn't even been tested and will say anything to get into your pants. Always, always, always use protection. You won't be lucky forever, so if you aren't ready for a baby then use condoms! If you boyfriend refuses to wear them, then maybe you should ask yourself why he wouldn't do that to protect you. Why would you want to risk getting pregnant if you're not ready?

The withdrawl method DOES NOT work. It has failed me MORE THAN ONCE in my life. Oh god, I was so stupid, when I think back.
But, if you're set on using the withdrawl method, know that you are THE MOST FERTILE when you're nearing the end of your period but it isn't fully done yet.
I say "watch that time, especially" because you think you have your period and because you're on it, you're safe -- and that is SO not true. And it's a time when you REALLY want to have sex.
I wouldn't tempt fate with something like that.

do you want to be pregnant? you shouldnt really have unprotected sex until you want a baby but you have taken that gamble and yeah i think you have been really lucky cause pre *** can get you pregnant! but then again those trying for babies find it hard to get pregnant sometimes cause its only about 3 days that you are fertile! you are prob fine fertility wise just been luck! so get back out those condoms girl x

precum can get you pregnant and you have just been extremely lucky and if you don't want a baby and staying up all night with it and getting spit up on and having the baby poop and pee on you then I suggest you stop using the withdrawal method and use a better form of birth control!

My cousin swears that she got pregnant w/ her last child due to precum b/c they used the withdraw method & it didn't work.

Withdrawal is not full proof. There is sperm in pre-ejaculation. You are taking a risk and can get pregnant.
Don't forget about the STD's. You may have been tested but has he.

my hubby and i used the pull out method for more than a year. but as soon as we stopped ....i have a 7 week old baby boy now.
I think it's all the luck of the draw though. Good luck!
