I have a friend down in Mexico that has a 93 mazda Protege he needs tha part wich is related with the car ignition ... he says it is the part that goes right after the key cylinder is the electronic part that has 4 terminals on one side and 2 on the other ..i called several places but they need the part name for any quotation so does any one Know about this ? I would appreciate it...thanks guys
Remember it is not where the key goes it's the next part .

that is the "ignition switch"

It should be the ignition switch -- if it's the part past that it's the solenoid. And past that is the starter --- go to your neighborhood auto parts store and first get the book for the 93 Protege -- it will have schematics for all the parts of the car, along with the proper names.

Call or go to Mazda dealer and talk to mechanic or parts person. They will be able to help.

well this depends on the amount of training she has had on how to actually drive. If she has not had any training then I personally don't want to be on the road with her. If she is properly trained, she's safe enough.
