There are many software programs that you can use instead.
My boyfriend owns his own shop and uses Real Time Labor Guide.
They give you trials to see if you like it.
Also to make invoices he uses Invomax because you can get the information from Real Time labor guide and pull in onto the invoice.
Computer programs might be more expensive but you get updates when they add new cars and stuff instead of buying a new book every year. Also they save you a lot of hassle with invoicing and such.

You can buy this little program at autozone called alldata. It is very exp. Also try chilton.
