There has been data discovered that points to America (Roosevelt) instigating an attack by Japan and allowed it to happen for the purpose of gaining entry into the second world war. If this is true, is it possible that 9/11 is the "new Pearl Harbor?"
If yes, explain why.
If no, explain why.

Dave of the Hill - I am not doing homework. I haven't done that in over 10 years. In fact, I rarely did it then. This is merely a new interest of mine over the last couple days based off a few myspace pages i've stumbled across.

No. This is why.....
The Japanese made two hugemistakes that day. There were numerous fuel oil tanks next to the navy yard and submarine base. They contained enough oil to operate the entire fleet for many months, yet they remained untouched.
Secondly, the Japanese completely ignored the American submarines and their base at PearlHarbor. The U.S. Navy used it's subs ot immediately begin an offensive campaign against Japanese merchant shipping as well as warships.
If Roosevelt had part in the attacks, he would've told them about these mistakes.

properly, Pearl became valuable on Battleship Row, on an identical time as 9/11 became valuable on the commerce center. additionally, Pearl Harbor became a huge airplane provider attack and 9/11 became 2 suicide bombings using commercial airliners. Pearl Harbor became performed by using a huge jap army, on an identical time as 9/11 became a smaller team of Anti-American terrorists. i'm going to save on thinking, yet that's involved in now.

No, the Pearl Harbor story is urban legend and no evidence of the Bush Administration having foreknowledge of 9/11.

Is it possible? Lots of things are possible.
Is it likely that either FDR or Bush knew that an attack was coming & allowed it to happen in order to precipitate war? No, it's not likely. And even if either or both were allowed to happen for that reason, solid proof of such a conspiracy would never see the light of day.
Is it possible that people post questions that look an awful lot like homework assignments on message boards, in hopes that others might do their homework for them? Lots of things are possible. ;)

actual, the USA was in peace negotiations with japan when they attacked. According to the japanese, they underestimated the strength of the USA. They had become enboldened because they were able to defeat China and saw this as the superpower of that time and did not believe the USA was as big a threat.

Politicians do many things to further their own causes but both those you suggest are far beyond the limits of how far they will go. They still have some oversight to contend with as opposed to a dictator. And do have some moral standards.
