I joined this because a person asked a question and I just wanted reasons as to why they asked that particular question.

because all they see is black people wearing babyphat...its an urban clothing line.....but anyone can wear it I've seen tons of ethnicities wearing babyphat...some people dont think before they speak, and some want attention...the reason I joined yahoo answers was because some one asked "why so only trashy people go to wal-mart." who would ask that? I'll tell u ignorant people, who think their **** smells better than ours.

Maybe that is all they've ever seen. (Black people wearing BabyPhat, not any white people.)
I have only ever seen one person wearing a Baby Phat outfit. It was a black person, too, interestingly enough, just the other day.
It doesn't have to be a stereotype. It could just be an honest observation.

If you look at the adds for BabyPhat, what race is usually wearing them? When you watch music videos who is wearing them?
I know that "black" people are not the only ones who wear it but it may seem like that to the rest of the world because the rest of the world is not exposed to a variety of people.
Oh please, white people are usually the only race that shop at that hole that is Abercrombie & Fitch which stands for upper class white supremacy.

I agree that not any certain race is limited to the clothing brand they wear. My sister however wears baby phat and fubu and all the girls at school give her a hard time saying " shes trying to be like them and she needs to stop being something shes not" So its not only white people that think certain races shouldnt dress certain ways.

I mean, a majority of us do wear Baby Phat. How many white, Asian, etc., do you see wearing Baby phat? not many. It's urban clothing. great question. hope i helped! bye!

because babyphat is made by someone who is married to a black person...so I'm they relate and direct it to that ethincity.

Beacuse obviosly they are a shut in or from a hic town, I am white and i have alot of baby phat clothes!
