my computer is saying c.d. burner not found but i have a c.d. burner is there any thing to do to change this and be able to use my c.d. burner?

uninstall the software for it and reinstall

If its a new burner it has to be in the first slot. Your computer has to read it as the main slot. Then reset your computer,

It might be even damaged.
Don't repair it, it's more worth it to buy a new one.
