Much of your comments are highly subjective, but I will address a few of them. Let us clear up one thing first - I did not vote for Obama or McCain and see little point in propping up a failed political system. However since the beginning of his campaign, indeed since his time in the Senate, Obama has been an outspoken opponent of the Bush Administration's handling of detainees, it's policies in Afghanistan, and the way it handled the Iraq war. His stance on torture has not changed, the CIA no longer uses it, he has condemned it, and the only choice he has not made has been whether or not to prosecute those who implemented these "enhanced" interrogation techniques. He has clearly stated that Pakistan is a real problem area, has tried to work with the Bhutto government, and is currently moving troops to Afghanistan in an attempt to contain the Taliban movement. I would like to add that the Bush Administration completely ignored Pakistan and focused on a boondoggle invasion of Iraq. He has began making diplomatic overtures to Iran, which is the only real option available, seeing as Russia and China protect the Iranian government from international military action, and the US is stretched too thin to handle things on their own (again see: Iraq, boondoggle) North Korea is also protected by China, and there is little to be done about them except to hope that diplomatic efforts can break down the regimes hold on that country. But at the base of your comments is the idea that Obama should be on TV every day, simply talking about the problems facing this country. That is Glenn Beck's job - to sit back, criticize, nit pick, and attack. The President's job is not to make you feel better or to say what you and your political allies want to hear, but rather to follow the mandate he was given and try to FIX the problems facing this country.
