I am trying to find out about a Poole Pottery Jug i have, its is green in colour about 12 inches high, it is not damaged at all, just wondering if its worth anything.

As long as it is good condition, it will be worth quite a few bob in years to come. At the moment it is worth about £50. For anyone that doesnt know about this. Poole pottery is in Dorset. Their famous symbol is the dolphin and you can have a tour round the factory in Poole. While there which is next to the harbour, you can get on a boat to Brownsea Island where you can see Red Squirrels. Poole pottery is expensive to buy and is valued by collectors

If you look on the BBC website under antiques they have a whole section about pottery and you can ask the experts if you want to. I wouldnt sell it on ebay - from what Ive seen on the TV programmes some of the poole pottery is quite valuble to a collector. Good luck.

not sure about worth but i know its a respectable name. We got loads at our house. Comes from Dorset i believe.
