i'd say just a firm handshake, and say pleased to meet you, or if you've already met the client before, say pleased to see you

You should say "Hello, how are you?". The client will normally reply "I am just fine, thank you". You should then poke him in the eye severely and ask him "How are you NOW? HA! HA! HA!". Your client will then see that you have a good sense of humor and will want to do much business with you.

Thank you.

I always say "sup dude" or, if a female, I say "sup mama" I do very little business after that but, I always get a reaction..
I am now considering changing to the more conventional Handshake and nice to meet you greeting. It doesn't get the same reaction as the "sup" but I seem to do more business..whatever works for you..Good luck
