I know how to get you 2000 gold pieces. If you're new, you probably haven't done this. To do this, get a bank account, which means get security codes for your bank stuff. To register that, it will take a week. After that week, head out to the Barbarian Village near Varrock. In the center of the Village, there is a little hole in the ground that you need to crawl into (no you don't have to be a member to do this). After you crawl down there, you appear in the Sanctuary of Security. Go to the center of the Sanctuary and you will find a patch of grass with a large treasure chest in the middle. Open it and 2000 gp's are yours!
Another good way to get money fast is mining. Trust me. It's working for me! I've done it for about a month now and I already have 10,000 gp's (and that's only because I haven't really been trying). As you gain experience in Mining and Smithing, you will be able to manufacture more kinds of metal, and the stronger the metals get in your wares, the more money you get for them!
So there you go! Easy ways for cash!
P.S. My Runescape name is Darth Stion. If you see me, add me as a friend!

The best way to make your way to riches is by Merchanting. This is a tough to learn, but after a while it will be instinct. Remember, you need a lot of patience, and if you are desperate for quick money this is not the method for you.
First of all, you are going to need some start-up money, so I suggest you do some mining, woodcutting, fishing, or player-killing, or anything else that might get you 50,000k+. I really prefer mining, because the ores have a pretty high demand, but you could choose whatever you are better at. After you have somewhere around 50k -200k, you should start buying low and selling high. This is not by any means easy, but it is possible. Haggle a bit and find the lowest possible. This guide here:

shoul be pretty helpful along the way. Now the items that may wanna aim for at this stage are willow logs (which you should go to Draynor) or cowhides (in Al-Kharid). You should try and get willows from 20-25ea or if you go cowhide, buy them at 100 ea. Remember you need to go to the crowded worlds, for this to work. For the willows, resell at least 30ea, for the cowhides 150-180ea.
This is slow, but in a couple of days you should have enough to merchant something better... Another tip is to constantly have the Runescape Forum open, in the market you choose to merchant. You can see people buying or selling any of the products you are looking for.
For more information you should visit some of the sites in the sources listed below.
Hope this helped.

There is this one way to make easy money on runescape. You have to go to www.runescape4gold.com or, if you have 30 coins, take a ship to Karmaja and keep on working for the guy in the building. I don't remember his name but he has a monkey on his back. Keep picking him bananas, (10 bananas per job) and put it in the crate, and he will keep paying you 30 coins. Note: Put the bananas in the crate outside the building. You should see it! (when you go to the website, pay 10 dollars by credit card and in a few days or so, you will get 1 mil on runescape)

Only tip I know of is to try to make good trades. Or if you are a beginner try to level up mining so you can mine iron. Then there are certain locations where you can mine iron with nobody really there. Sell the iron for like 200 each. And after mining for a few days. You can have like 2000 iron.
Thats what I did.

I apoligize for copying and pasting this answer, but I don't feel like typing out another long answer. :-( I can tell you that you're aiming too low,but apart from that, just..
If you are member,then..
Go to runescape.com,then the forums section, log in,click the rune forum under marketplace, look for someone "hiring rune essence runners!!" or "Hiring Nat Runners 10k a run" (the second one is better) and look inside the thread for more details on the job. It's not too good to be true,it funds rune ess miners and merchants, woodcutters and fletchers,it allows for easy and widely used magic training (using nature runes) and as a final result, the alchemy CREATES MORE MONEY. It's where money comes from! Earn your piece of it. =)

You can mine iron ores for me. I pay 30 ea, so if you get me 2k iron ores, I will give you 60k! And best of all, it wont even take you a month, it will take you about two days. So you can make much more than 50k a month. If your interested, email me at mexpimp619@yahoo.com
happy moneymaking!

you have to learn how to trade. someone will always pay top price for your hard work, but it's usually better to trade them for a different object of greater value so that you can continue trading up.
you do the work on a server no one is using, but then you go to server 1 or 2 and sell/trade there because that's all it's used for.
