i think athrun zala is the REAL ace pilot, i believe he is better than kira.

I agree that Athrun is the real ace pilot and the real star of the series but he doesn't get to show his moves...unlike Kira who always gets into the limelight (25 enemies in 2 minutes, yeah right, as if Athrun can't do that.) Athrun is just restrained by the creators... Poor Athrun...

I'll admit that I'm not much of a fan of Gundam Seed, but I think Kira is better than Athrun because he was able to defeat Rau Le Creuset.

I can't decide between Athrun and Kira. Kira's fast and Athrun so hot.
