Never heard of it. If they are asking for one, I wouldn't know what to do. If they are saying yours is a hollow resume, I would think it means that you gave only basic date and job title info and no real infor that says what you have skills in

"Hollow" resumes usually include lots for phrases such as "hard working", "customer service oriented", and "good communication skills" with no specific examples to back up these claims. If you have been told that your resume is hollow, you should add specific details of successes you have had, instances when you increased customer loyalty, new programs you have put in place, etc. It is better for your resume to read as a story than a list.

I used to work in the Career Services Office at a college in Connecticut. My best guess would be that they are referring to your lack of tangible experience. Perhaps you have a lot of activities listed on your resume or summer/part-time jobs, but nothing with any significant substance. Perhaps you want to consider an internship or even volunteering in the industry you are trying to enter. If you are currently a student or a graduate trying contacting your school's career counseling or guidance office or dean's office and get some assistance in how your word things on your resume. It may be that you have plenty of experience and just haven't worded it correctly.
