I need to buy a suit, and I am just looking for some advice. I am 16, shortish, petite and have brown hair. Should I buy a suit with pants (I think I would prefer this) or a skirt suit? Which would flatter my figure and make me look taller? Also, if you could suggest a color I would appreciate it!

well if you want to look taller i would go for the pants and some high heels, like boots or something. i would suggesst brown, black or maybe red or blue.

It depends on the function for which you are needing a suit.Of course if you want a *taller* look, I would recommend a knee length skirt with pumps to go with it...However pants suits are awesome as well, and since that is more comfortable for you, why not! Just wear some pumps to go with it to help accentuate..Dark navy, black or dark brown ,dark olive green would be great for your tone and hair color...Dress up your outfit and drawn attention to your face and upper body with a brotch of some sort..Scour a thrift store! They have tons!

Black, gray, or brown stay basic. It depends why you getting this suit. I perfer pants, but if it's for a one time deal go with skirt and leave the jacket open wear a really cute lace or silky top under the coat.
