You start school "officially" between ages 4 and 5. That's kindergarten.
From there you go from grades 1-12. Each grade is another year. STudents graduate high school at age 17 or 18 usually.

The child usually has be 5 when (s)he starts kindergarten. From there yo can extrapolate each age unto graduation from high school 13 years later at the age of 18. There are some exceptions but that's the general rule.

All the above are accurate, but also the US school system is run at the state and local level. There are Federal standards that are required to be met, but the school districts go about that in different ways. The age of children is one of those issues. Some districts state "children must turn 5 by October 31 of fall term in order to start Kindergarten"...other school districts may make that date Dec 31st.

Most kids go to Kindergarten when they are 5 years old. Next is first grade. When you graduate from 12th grade (or as we tend to call it, Senior year of high school) you're generally 18 years old. You only are required to attend until you're about 16, but the vast majority of people these days at least finish high school completely.

You start school in Kindergarten at age 4 or 5. You then go to school until you are 17-18 yrs old. It all depends what state you live in and what age they let you start school. So all together its Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade...etc. until you graduate from 12th grade. Then its off to college for alot of them!

you could start pre-school (but thats opptional because i didn't go to it) at 4 or 5 years old and then you go in to elementary school which starts at kindergarten and 1rst and etc. you go to 6th and that usually starts middle school and when you get to 9th that starts high school all the way up to 12th grade which is the last and then you go to college and by 12th grade you are usually 17 or 18 years old
why are you from another country?
